Tripura Government Law College is the only government college imparting quality legal education in Tripura since its establishment on 2 nd July, 1986. The college imparted three year LL.B. course then but from the academic session 1998- 99 the college switched over to five-year B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Course. Students of the college have achieved many feats. It has produced successful lawyers, judicial officers and academicians. College also has a rich library consisting large number of books. Students of this college have done well in moot court competition and other academic competitions. The college runs Legal Aid Clinic in collaboration with Tripura State Legal services authority. The college also has an Intellectual Property Rights Cell funded by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Tripura.
